“An amazing jewel waiting to be found. Not only is the place authentic and picturesque but the villagers and the host herself were at all times friendly and helpful. We even got to eat at a local home and see some folk dances and listen to live music! The only drawback - having to leave…”

“The time we spent in a space that felt like we were in a fairytale was the highlight of our trip.
Playing with friendly cats and birds and spending time in a blue house surrounded by beautiful furnishings was a unique and precious experience.
You can ask the host to cook for a fee.
The host's dad lived nearby and took care of us. He was very sweet, able to speak French.
You have to drive 8km off road to arrive, but I think it's worth it.”佳世子, august 2024
“We had a great week at Marina's blue house. Traditional Romanian furniture and utensils from the early 20th century immersed us in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The daily walks in the fields and the hospitality of the hospitable inhabitants of the village of Marin allowed us to relax and regain strength. Our little dog was also happy to interact with the chickens, two cats Annette and Vera, as well as the little dog of Marina's parents. It was like we went back to our happy childhood. We didn't want to leave at all. Thank you Marina for this unforgettable moment.”

“It was a very nice experience, a little house like in the stories of our great-grandparents. The tradition is very nice kept, so the objects, the furniture absolutely everything offers a picturesque air. Also, the generous yard full of cute pets (friendly kitties and chickens) was wonderful and contributed to a relaxing stay, detaching you from the noise and stress of the city. Highly reccomend. ”

“This was such a unique and magical place to stay, to relax and enjoy nature and rural life. We loved looking after the chickens and spending time with the cat and the little dog.
The woven textiles and decorations in the house are beautiful and it has been restored to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and we loved cooking in the traditional kitchen. It felt like we had stepped back in time!
The garden was peaceful and felt very private. We spent lots of time watching the chickens, collecting their eggs and enjoying lying in the hammock. Although we didn't meet Marina, she was very prompt to respond to any questions we had.
The village is nice to walk around and there is a small shop.
We were sad to leave this place and were really glad to have stayed at such a unique property.”Natasha, august 2024
“Marina's place is a hidden must-visit gem. We absolutely loved it by the moment we opened the wooden entrance door. Besides that, I absolutely took the responsibility of feeding the chickens - but the dog and the two cats are such angels! As per Marina's recommendations, we also had dinner in the village which was another great experience. I'm really glad that these kinds of places still exist and you can get a bite of the well-kept Romanian traditions.
Lots of thankies, Marina!”

“An exceptional place that we had the chance to discover a tastefully decorated house demonstrating all the crafts textile carpet furniture. A pleasure for the eyes and for the amateur photographers that we are.
Thank you Marina”Veronique, may 2024
“Ez nem csupán egy szállás hely. Belecsöppenhetünk a régi idők kúltúrájába. Marina pedig nem csak egy szállás adó, remek barát is:) Nagyon jó hétvégét tölthettünk itt. Találkozhattunk a helyi emberekkel akik szintén nagyon barátságosak, és befogadók. Mindenkinek szívemből ajánlom, hogy itt foglaljon. Nem fogja megbánni. Remélem még vissza jövünk valamikor!:)<3”

“If you are looking for a genuine experience related to folklore, history and tradition, than this is the place to be. There are a lot of places claiming to have recreated the original way of living of our ancestors, but few succeeded and Casa Marin is one of them.
The house was build 1906 and comprises all traditional objects and accessories you could imagine, starting with furniture, decor, carpets, bed linens - everything in original of course and you could spend some hours of looking at all the antiques and small details. One can simply feel the love and dedication of the owners for rebuilding a piece of Romanian history, for creating a small journey back in time. And speaking of them - great hosts, more than helpful and welcoming. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be ordered at an extra cost, but you will not regret it if you enjoy traditional cooking and the farm-to-table way of eating - everything was simply delicious. So thank you for the lovely experience!”

“Can’t say enough good things about this place. Marina is a great host. The house is like a museum of Transylvanian history and yet very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and abundant!
Marina and her mother even showed us their collection of vintage traditional clothing of the region. Their knowledge and passion was inspiring. It was one of my mother’s favorite parts of our entire trip in Romania.
If you are looking for an authentic experience in Romania in a traditional small village... there is nothing better than this place.
Thank you again!”Dave, september 2018
